Hey there. A little advice, search Chicago/whereever you're willing to meet and see if any one is offering anything in that area and reach out.
Sometimes the pm is a little wonky so comment on some posts. Some people leave their ig, send them a dm, mention ur from UPT.
Sometimes you'll make a post and get results and sometimes they'll go unanswered, especially since it's slowed a bit over the winter. And that's both for the givers and receivers. Go get some plants. Wish you luck and happy planting!!
