Im a recent grad and I’ve just moved to a new place. I’m looking for a couple new plant buddies to make my home more cozy. I like birds of paradise, ferns, palms, Janet Craig, aloe or anything with generally larger leaves and/or gives a tropical feel. CashApp: $GabbySimone77
Thanks in advance! 😊
Are you still looking/in need of plants?
I have a couple baby aloes you can grab!
Yes! @laurapower
I'm a classically trained singer living in West Ridge, and always open to making my apartment feel more lush with plants. I'd be happy to take just about any plant, but would love some that can thrive in low light for my room that has a north-facing window.
Venmo is @TianaSorenson <3
@Tiana I have a couple baby aloes if you could pick up up north :)
@Sam Przy ooh! And i just saw your other comment, if you're looking for a pilea I have a baby one I could give you in exchange!
I have a fully rooted pothos cutting that needs a home! I'm in South Loop, DM me on insta @michmacher if you're interested
Hi Chicago- I've started rooting a bunch of spider plant babies, golden pothos cuttings, and a couple african violet leaves. I'm also trying to learn macrame so I have a couple simple plant hangers too. Let me know if you want anything! I live in Rogers Park but my gf lives in Humboldt so I could deliver for most of the north/west side. I'm also @ someday_dirt on instagram if that's easier for dms.
Id love a plant hanger! @sarathesprout
I would also LOVE anything you are willing to give away <3
I would love an African violet if you still have any.
Black wine professional, out of work but always studying ;) Looking for any propagations! The normal, the weird and the once in a lifetimes!
Hi, I'm a mom in Humboldt Park, looking for plants that thrive in low light. I have experience with succulents, ivies, & some other tropicals. I only have one set of large South facing windows in the apt, but basically I can care for any plant amenable to these conditions.
Thanks in advance!
Hi - queer black girl here up in Edgewater. I have a give and an ask!
ASK: Pilea! Pothos! Cactus!
GIVE: 2 baby aloes, 1 small prayer plant and 1 struggling palm plant (will deliver within reason, they are struggling!) can provide pictures!
I’ll take the palm and prayer plant! @Sam Przy
I have a fully rooted pothos cutting, if you're interested!
I have a pilea ready to go.
Hello,
I currently have a spider plant baby with macrame hanger and willing to travel within Chicago area or nearby suburbs depending how far (I'm in Ravenswood.)
You can reach me on insta @Frenchamericano. I do have some propagations now and again of spider babies or I have soooo much Cuban Mint and can do a philodendron pretty easily. :-)
@Benjamin M what kind of philodendron?
I would LOVEE the spider plant baby! (I'm in Albany park)
Hi my name is Drew I’m in Chicago! Black Queer artist looking for some charming babies for my lover! He’s a painter and could use some positive energy! Would love to grab a bamboo plant 🪴 or anything to make him smile.

I would love to receive a plant. It can be almost any plant. My animals don’t bother them, they just like getting on my nerves. lol. About me:32 (black, obviously) living in Chicago and though I’ve lived here all my life I’ve felt alone. Until I got a money tree, and, call me crazy, Ive talked to it, almost everyday. My ankle has healed from me being a klutz, so I can meet anywher. preferably on the north side though.
thanks guys! Peace and hair grease.
Hi! I'm a Black woman and in the meantime while I am manifesting my future I am going to start some seedlings and install the garden on the south of the house. It is planting season and I have room to start inside. Here are the roots, bulbs, plants, starter plants I am seeking:
Elephant ear, Variety Color Gladious , exotic color hostas, lavender, rosemary, lemon balm, collard greens, large hot pink peony, and dinner plate dahlia pink and Cafe Au Lait. It's planting season and I have space to start plants inside. If you have roots or tubers I'm locate in the Bronzevile neighborhood in Chicago. We can meet or you can mail. Please and thank you!
Anyone willing to help me with $27 so I can buy a Calathea Orbifolia? This is my dream plant! Someone please help thank you 🌱🌺
