hey! I have a pretty large kimberly queen fern who has successfully doubled in size on my patio, but I don't have room for her, so if you've got room for a large plant and want her, she's yours!
They are pretty hardy and can survive outside up to 20 degrees Fahrenheit, but with Chicago winter, she'll probably need to live inside over the winter.
It will likely drop a lot of its fronds over the winter months (so would require some maintenance), but should fill back in in the summer.
I don't have a car, so you'd have to come pick her up :) I'm in bucktown!
