Ring in the new year with plants that are great at maintaining their boundaries. These spiky plants are not cat friendly or child friendly and are b a r e l y people friendly. lol. They just want to be admired and not touched.
Local pickup please. I am not able to ship them.
Pinecone cactus (Tephrocactus) : About 5 years old. Low maintenance. Prefers dry soil with an occasional watering. Likes medium sun. A nice shade/part sun spot outdoors in the summer is nice but not necessary. Has a few scars (squirrel bites).👹 Pretty easy to start new plants from cuttings/the baby orbs that grow off it. This cactus looks cute, but is protected by nearly invisible tiny spiky hairs that freaking hurt if you accidentally touch it.

Agave: 8 years old. Medium maintenance. Prefers dry soil with an occasional watering. Likes medium sun. A shade/part sun spot outdoors in the summer is nice, but not necessary. Grows a very long taproot and quickly becomes rootbound. Needs to be potted up annually, sometimes 2x/year. 1-3 babies will pop up in the pot every year. The spikes on this agave are very sharp.
