I stick my fingers b4 watering n I do bottom feeding too. I've done cinnamon on the top of the soil, mosquito bits, neem oil pure and the spray. N the sticky yellow traps. I keep catching so many but they must kay eggs b4 dying so the cycle doesn't end. Please sent help.

Beneficial nematodes work really well, you can order them online or get them at home depot and sometimes big garden shops. You mix them into water, drench the soil, and then repeat 7-10 days later. The nematodes drill into the gnat larvae and kill them, and then after that they run out of food and die. Easy.

Okay so I have a multipart system for getting rid of them! 1. Let your soil dry out completely (which you said you’ve been doing!)

    2. Get those yellow sticky gnat traps and put them on the plants you see with the most issues.

    3. Only use water treated with mosquito bits/mix the bits into anything you repot. 4. If none of the above eradicates them within like two weeks, get a Katchy. It’s a little machine with a sticky trap, a fan and a blue light. You leave it on overnight in the dark and it draws flying insects like gnats in. Works really well!

    Good Luck

I just saw this yesterday and I happened to have one of those traps for outside. I put all my plants in the same room since idk who's the main one and I got so many. I cleaned it out b4 and today the table had at least 300 of em shits dead. I'll keep the bug zapper ther cuz I'm sure they ain't all dead but this really worked. Tha k you soooo much. Peace and love Queen.

I have a similar problem but I can’t tell which plant it is. I don’t have many gnats like in the summer but they’re so annoying! Hope someone give us some tips cause I can’t anymore!
